I’m currently working on version 2 of the Tyre Size Calculator, it’ll fix some inconsistencies in the current version and add a few new features that commentors have asked for e.g.
I’m also thinking of adding the option to specify the wheel width so you can see how fat or stretched the selected tyre size will be on a given wheel width.
If anybody has any comments of suggestions then feel free to post them below 🙂
Forget the hybrid drive vehicles that Toyota, Lexus and Honda are pushing. As an intermediate stage they’re fine but with the speed at which the technology is advancing it may be no more than a token gesture. Reducing emissions is important, and concentrating on the mass market will have the biggest impact but none of the models released so far can truly be considered mass market can they?

Today I received an email alerting me to a petion against section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002. Personally I was never aware that this law existed… essentially it gives any uniformed officer the power to issue you with a written warning and, on a subsequent occasion, the power to seize your vehicle. the officer does not even need to have proof in order to issue a warning or seize your car!
